Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach?

I LOVE those streams around the water parks where you ride a tube around and just lay back and enjoy. I remember loving the one in Blizzard Beach because it had a waterfall. I just can't remember much about ANY of the water parks beside that, it's been so long! I don't particularly like the water slides without tubes (I remember it kind of hurting) so I like the laid back water park rides more.

Any suggestions?

We tried both and we liked blizzard beach the best. It seemed more themey

Typhoon Lagoon is more laid back IMO. They have a lazy river too. Have fun.

I like blizzard beach more! It's more fun and feels more disney!!!

We have never made it to Blizzard beach.

DH is not a fan of the water so that being said the tropical beach like typhoon lagoon suits him. I like the lazy river and enjoy some of the rides and then just enjoy relaxing on the beach

If I had to choose one, it would be Typhoon Lagoon

If you had to ask my Dh, he would say Typhoon Lagoon, hands down...I have no clue why? If you ask me, I would pick Blizzard Beach each and every time

I'm like you and don't enjoy the body slides - just the tubes.
Both parks have very similar lazy rivers.
My kids liked the bigger waves at TL better, but I felt more comfortable with them in the smaller BB waves and they still had fun.
Both parks have fun tube slides.
The deciding factor for me and DH on best water park is that at BB for most tube slides, they have a conveyer belt to get the tubes to the top or mostly to the top of the slides. We had to help DS and DD with their tubes at TL and I was beat up and worn out after a day of carrying 2 floats at a time up the steps all day. We won't go back to TL at least until both kiddos are tall enough to carry their own floats.

was were just at both last week and by far Typhoon is better. It is all themed very "tropical"/ relaxing but not Disney ish at all, which was fine with us. Blizzard to me is just a big concrete waterpark with TONS of stairs. We all liked the lazy river at TL much better as well. We got the preferred seating with umbrella, towels, chairs in a roped off sandy beach and this is now THE ONLY way we will go to the waterparks. Loved it!!! Have fun!

I prefer Typhoon Lagoon because it's more relaxing. I'm an old guy, though. Teenagers and younger adults will likely prefer Blizzard Beach.
