Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach??

Which water park would be better for a 5 year old who is not too keen on learning how to swim yet??

TL for sure! My DD7 and DS4 loved it far better than BB. We are waterpark-a-hoilcs!!!

I like TL better but Blizzard Beach has a much better area for kids your son's age. No doubt about that one.

If he was older, I would say TL.

Does anyone have good pictures of BB children's area? I know most people don't bring their camera's to waterparks, but I'm wondering the same thing and want to see it. Disney's site doesn't show much. I've been to TL and do love it, but wonder if we should try the other.

Sorry I don't have any pictures, but I will say that we did BB when our kids were 2, 4, and 5. The older two did almost everything (They're tall) and the two yr. old could do the HUGE childrens area, the family raft ride, and the ski lift. I also took her in the big wave pool on an innertube. Often, my DH took the older two to do the bigger things and I stayed w/ our 2 yr. old. I think it's a fine waterpark for your 5 yr. old. That said, I've never been to TL.

We took our daughter to Typhoon Lagoon when she was 4 and she loved it. We prefer TL to BB...Good luck!
