Hello,

We were thinking of doing Typhoon Lagoon on our last day. Our plane does not depart until 6:30 PM and we have a car service picking us up at CSR to go to MCO. Our plan was to get up and do airport check in. Check out of the hotel (if we cannot get a late check out) and leave our carry-ons with bell services and then head to Typhoon Lagoon until 1:00 or so. Then head back to CSR to change and head to the airport. Does this sound feasable? A couple of other questions:

1)Do they have towels at TL or do we need to bring our own?
2)Is TL worth the +$220 it will cost of for a single day pass for my family of 4?
3)Can I buy same day tickets or should I buy them ahead of time?

9 days to go, the wait is killing me.......

TIA

1 - Yes
2 - I think so, after many years of trips we finally did our first WDW waterpark at typhoon Lagoon last summer. We felt it was definitely a highlight of our trip and plan to do it again this summer.
3 - You can buy same day ticket if you wish, either at your hotel, or at the ticket window at TL

Another idea is to add the Waterpark and more option. It is only $6/adult more and you could have multiple trips to the water park for your trip as well other things like mini golf. We are planning to do this ourselves.

It would make more sense to change at the water park instead of waiting until you get back to CSR.

1. You can rent them for $2.
2. That's personal decision. Do you have park hoppers or just base tickets.
3. Whichever. But if you already have park hoppers, it is cheaper to add the water parks and more option to your ticket.

Thanks for the quick respose. I will look into thet WP&M option, I think I need to add it prior to the first use of our 7 day park hoppers..

We have 7 day park hoppers, and duh on my part, changing at TL would make more sense. Thanks!

No, you just need to make sure you add it before the end of the last day of your ticket. It will cost you $26 plus tax per ticket.

I would add it before, though. Why not take advantage of the mini golf or disney quest options?

Excellent advice, I just got off the phone with a CM and changed my park hoppers to PH w/WP&M. It cost less than half the cost of 4 single day water park passes. Thanks again!

I am sure you have thought out choosing TL over blizzard beach...however, staying at CSR you will be so close to BB that I would considering going there on the last day to maximize park time and minimize travel time.

Now that you've added the WPF&M option maybe there's a day earlier in the trip to check out TL then hit BB last day?

Hope you enjoy. We just went for first time to both 2 years ago and now return each trip.

This is a good point. You can walk to BB from CSR.

All good advice. Once we got there we realized that BB was next door and to get to TL you had to ride the Ecpot bus. WE originally thoguth we woukd want to go to T over BB because of the wave pool and slides. In the end we did neither. So we did not get our moneys worth out of upgrading the tickets, but it was worth the gamble. We ended up goign to AK on our last day as the kids wanted to ride EE again.

Thanks again everyone. I am working on a trip report I will probably finish early next week.

You will this day. BB is awesome and relaxing. You can also burn through any leftover DDP treats while you're there.
