Typhoon Lagoon on 4th of July

We have done MK on the 4th and it was very crowded. We were thinking of doing Typhoon Lagoon from opening and for about 3 hours. Has anyone gone thereon the 4th? Is it too crazy?

A couple of years ago we went to BB on the 4th, getting there shortly after opening. It wasn't bad in the morning with minimal waits until shortly before lunch time. It got progressively busier until the afternoon storms rolled through when we decided to call it a day.

We did one of the water parks the morning of July 4th one year - ditto: it was nice until around 11:30am, but filled quickly after that. My experience has been that any of the parks (including MK!) are great that day early in the morning - the key is getting OUT before noon!
