Typhoon Lagoon - good spot for your towel

Me, DW, DD 13, and DS 7 went TL on Wed. June 15.

We put our towels and cooler down just behind the fake rocks that make up the little kid slide that goes into the big wave pool. This is on the left side of the wave pool, where the pool widens out. This was a great spot. We were only steps away from the wave pool, the bathrooms, a drink refill station, and the raft type slides. There are some nice tall palm trees that keep some of the sun off you along with the shade from the fake rocks.

We arrived around 9:15 and staked out this centrally located spot.

I will have to try and remember that. We will be there in 2 weeks.

Were there chairs there?? We always end up in the same area-- but it gets rather congested. So I'm always on the look out for a better tip.
