MY 19 YEAR OLD SON AND I ARE GOING TO STAY AT THE BOARDWALK VILLAS FOR 5 DAYS IN MAY. WE ARE ALSO LOOKING AT A POSSIBLE STAY IN JANUARY ALSO WITH MY HUSBAND FOR 6 DAYS. WHAT TYPE OF PASS DO YOU RECOMMEND? WE ARE LEANING TOWARDS GETTING AN ANNUAL PASS.

ALSO, MY HUSBAND AND I WOULD LIKE TO VISIT VERO BEACH IN THE FALL. WHAT KIND OF EXPERIENCES HAVE PEOPLE HAD THERE? WHERE HAVE PEOPLE VENTURED OUT TO VISIT FROM VB? WE WOULD LIKE TO GO SIGHTSEEING AROUND SOME AREAS OF FLORIDA AS WE HAVE ONLY SEEN THE ORLANDO/DISNEY AREA.

if you are going more than once in a 12 month period for that amount of time, get an annual pass. i calculated it myself for something similar and we would save $200 by getting an annual pass vs. two trips for a certain amount of days. then you can decide towards experation time if you want to renew it and it costs about 40-50 dollars less.

good luck

The break even point for the Annual Pass to my knowledge is 8 days, so I would recommend purchasing that one. Remember, they're not transferable from one person to another. Also, if you plan on visiting the water parks, Pleasure Island, etc., those perks are not included with the standard AP. Hope this helps!

The breakeven point on a regular annual pass is about 8 visits.

We go down twice in a year and do the annual passes.

Plus, with an annual pass you have a built in excuse to go again within the year. We're getting 22 days out of ours this year. What a value!

We toured the Piper Aircraft plant while in Vero. (My husband has his private plane license & owns a Cessna 210, so he was fascinated.) It's about an hour, hour an a half to Cocoa Beach, where the famous Ron Jon's Surf Shop is located :D plus you can go to the space center. We enjoyed just taking it easy while at Vero - it was a very relaxing trip! Enjoy.
