Tyler Florence's Ultimate Prime Rib. Anybody ever make it?

It looks good. I rub mine with all sorts of spices but I've never thought of horseradish prior. I love it on cooked prime rib. Bon appetit!

Recipe looks good!

Made prime rib today - slow roasted for about 2.5 hours and it turned out great! Used a dry rub, meat thermometer, and made a au jus with beef broth and red wine (combined those two ingredients and reduced it down - delicious). Yum! Definitely a holiday meal for us, too!

enjoy!

Yes, I made Tyler's prime rib recipe and it was delicious! I recommend trying it. However, I used a boneless prime rib instead (9.7 lbs.) instead of a rack of prime ribs because I had to feed 9 people and wasn't sure how many ribs to buy and the boneless roast was great looking. The herbed horseradish crust was superb - everyone raved about it. I also made Tyler's recipe for creamed spinach (the nutmeg gave it a nice flavor) and green beans with shallots which also went over well. (I also made baby red skinned mashed potatoes) too but that was just my recipe - lots of butter, skim milk and some heavy whipping cream.
