Tye-Dye Mickey T-shirt

Does anyone have the directions on how to make a Mickey Mouse tye-dye
t-shirt? We are bringing a family of four with us who are FIRST-TIMERS and I would love to make these for them as a welcome gift. Thanks!

I made this for our February trip.

I suggest playing around with some old t-shirts if you have never tried it to get the feel of how tight you need to make the string and how much dye to use. I also used a bleach pen afterwards to lighten the blue outside of the mickey.


I purchased the jumpers from Dharma trading company for about $6.

that thread is for the spiral mickey- is there anyway to find the one how to make the other mickey tie dye that's not spiral? I've been searching and searching for days now! I only found threads showing the pictures of their mickey tie dye shirts- not spiral kind- but not having luck finding the thread with directions! Someone please help!
