I'm at work right now, fighting with software and the job I'm working on isn't even supposed to be my job!!! (Hair pulling smiley would go here if it existed) I'm covering for the guy in TX who did the same job as me.... until he quit! I would GLADLY do an exchange with almost anyone right now! FYI, it's about 5°C (41°F) here, kinda rained a bit this morning. Any takers?

Keep in mind that this winter is freaky for Texas. Basically Texas (and Oklahoma and New Mexico) are on fire thanks to this strange weather so don't expect it to always be quite this mild.

Great pictures, bettyann . Thanks for sharing them with us. You must have gone in the morning. The animals look like they were more active for you . I really like the ones of the rhinos on the ground (is that 2 or 3 of them?), and also of the white tiger up on the rocks. We missed the young kangaroo .

Yes we actually got there right at opening.. It was a little chilly but warmed up a bit.. I think it got to around 70 that day.. My boyfriends mom was in town so I took the day off work and the three of us went to the zoo.. We went while the kids were in school and I had a blast.. Last time my DD8 went along with my DD14 and DS12 and they bugged me the whole time so I didnt get to enjoy it.. I was ready to leave the last time and I dont think we did the whole zoo.. I believe there were 3 rhinos in that picture.. one of them is hard to see.. There was I think 2 other kangaroos with babies in their pouches but only the one came out.. This was the first time I ever saw that.. that was one of my favorite things this trip..
