Two weeks!

Two weeks from today I go to pick up my daughter from her mom's! I know others have posted how the summer has flown by, but let me tell ya -- not for me! It's been WAY too long.

I'm sending her a package today with one of her teddy bears, some candy, a couple computer games and a couple pictures.

Anyway, just counting down the days!

Boy, it sure is hard when they're staying at the other parent's, isn't it? I enjoy the time off mommy duty, but I sure miss her.

Although, since mine is a teenager now, there are some days I'd PAY her dad to come take her for a weekend or so!

I'm sure your dd will be just tickled to get back home.

She called me at work today to tell me to make sure I put her pink bathing suit (her favorite) and Disney Sorry! game in the package I send. I'm sure my co-workers appreciated hearing all about it

It's so refreshing to hear a dad sound like a mom!

And I totally agree, I can't imagine having to spend the summer without my dd. I'm so glad I don't have to share.

That is wonderful! I know I miss my DD10 terribly when she is at her dad's - but sadly that is becoming a less often thing.
I am happy to hear about a Dad who actually wants to see their child!
