Two versions of the Segway tour??

Just read in the 2007 Unofficial Guide that there is a shorter Segway tour for less money than the tour which goes around the world showcase. Most of the posts I've come across on these boards seem to be for the longer tour.

Is there a shorter tour?
Has anyone here experienced it?
Is it good?

From what I understand, it's the first hour of the two hour tour. You learn to ride but you don't get to leave the building. YAWN!

How about a tour for experienced Segway riders where they don't spend any time in class???

We spent the 1st hour riding back and forth a small room, step on/off, up/down a ramp in the room. It was fun I guess but not as fun as Zoooooming around the world, getting a mini backstage tour of some of the countries, waving at guests entering the park and looking at you just wishing they could do that!!!

Definitely pay the extra $ for the longer tour. My son and two of his teen friends did this in March and it was the highlight of the trip for them!

OMG!!! I am SO excited. I just booked what the lady said was the LAST TOUR (full version) available during Christmas week. Yippee!!!!! With the Disney Visa discount it was $68. Every review I've heard has been so totally positive, that I just couldn't resist!

Definitely do the two hour tour. The first hour of the tour is mostly instructional. The second hour of the tour is the really fun part IMHO!
