We've been in Disney World since Saturday and were quite apprehensive about the new DAS system but I must say its been great! We alternated DAS with FP+ and have had a great experience. It took a little bit of planning but honestly we have gotten more accomplished then we ever did with the GAC. CMs have been wonderful. Our only issue was one gentleman CM on small world who INSISTED that the DAS had an end time. Otherwise its been great!!

Honestly we had more issues with waiting for accessible restrooms... bc of all the strollers in them. You almost need a FP+ for the bathroom!!!

So nice to hear a positive DAS/FP+ report like this, glad you had such a great time!

This positive experience gives me such hope for our upcoming trip! Thank you for sharing.

We also had a positive experience at DL a few weeks ago with the DAS. We used a combination of DAS return times, Fastpass, and WC lines. We did good old standby as well, where we could and when lines were short enough.

I think DL process is easier, with the kiosks giving return times for ANY ride, in either park. But we have not tried WDW yet.

I was surprised with some guests using single rider lines, at RSR. Then they had to roll themselves over to the WC boarding area (not easy for manual WC users to DO, as it is uphill).

I had a similar CM at Talking Mickey on Friday who insisted that I was past my return time. I politely explained that there was none with these cards and she actually rolled her eyes at me and told me that "of course" there was an end time. Apparently she was new. I did convince her to let me through so I could talk to someone else. She reluctantly did, but gave me a strong and stern warning that I was wasting my time because they were only going to put me in the Stand By line. Of course they did not, and I did so enjoy telling her good bye after our visit with Talking Mickey.

Did you mention the first CM's stance to the second CM so they could go correct her and save some other family from getting grief?

I did - he told me Sue was new and still being trained. Truly though, with the exception of a soaring CM who did not know that 10 minutes should be taken off of the standby time, she was the only CM I came across over 8 days and 4 parks who did not understand how it worked.
