Two Studios at OKW or 1 Bedroom at BLT?

There is more to it than that, but I think we will be happy with the stay we have.

I just left BLT and its a great choice. My DD and her boyfriend ordered from Poly and Grand a few times and it was a nice option in addition to Contempo Cafe and easy to get to!

Have a great time.

Availability will change all the time as you grow closer. So I wouldn't eliminate something based on it not being available now. These last 12 month have been very different than normal and will continue to be for availability.

As far as food options between BCV and BWV you are not going to find a location with more food options so close outside of SSR which has Disney Springs. Also I would expect all dining to reopen at AKV this summer as the hotel side opens (not sure when you are going).
There is still no reopening date listed for Jambo house....

I love the 1BR at BLT, especially if you can get one on the "outside" of the curve (even numbered rooms). They are such a great space.

@Evita_W - Don't forget to check out the Wave. The Contempo is one of my favorite quick serves and the Wave is one of my favorite sit-downs. Also, in regards to menus, if there are dietary issues and you don't see anything on the menu that works for you, don't hesitate to ask to speak to a chef. Disney is really really good about helping figure out something that works for people with dietary issues.

FWIW, I don't know how much you've done with noting special dietary needs but the chefs often have options that are not listed on the menus so that it's possible to dine more places.

We find this works well at table service, but counter service doesn't do this as well.

They don't have much right now, many of those places are still closed or have extremely limited menus with almost everything having beef, pork or mushrooms (a couple of other issues as well), especially for breakfast. BLT actually has many more options for specific dietary needs, including chicken sausage. Can't really count EPCOT due to current park hopping rules.

It is also more points for a two bedroom at BWV than a one bedroom at BLT. We also have stayed at BWV and not BLT.

Not that this is really related to your stay but have you ever tried the Costco organic chicken sausage from the freezer department? It is truly amazing! We originally bought it for my 1 year old (no sugar in it), and we are now ALL addicted to it! ;-) We are planning a trip to WDW in late Feb too and I know we will be stopping at Costco to bring some with us!

Interesting, I’ll add that to my shopping list and give it a try

I don't know if they have, it's not me that doesn't eat pork, but sounds yummy none the less.

Two studios at okw gets you 4 queen beds vs a 1br at BLT gets you a king bed and a pull out sleeper sofa and a sleeper chair. So for sleeping comfort okw but for being together and having a full kitchen and walk to mk BLT would be better

Would you do two studios at OKW or 1 bedroom at BLT? We want two bathrooms, so trying to figure out the best option.
Given the fact you have the ecvs definitely I would go for BLT 1br. You have elevators at BLT and the monorail to easily get to mk and other resorts. Okw only has a few buildings with elevators and you need to go outside to get food and if you have 2 studios how would you decide who is sleeping in a room alone? I think for togetherness proximity to parks and restaurants and elevator and full kitchen BLT is better for you. The only advantage to okw would be
Comfort sleeping. All would have a queen bed

It depends on if it's all adults or not, but if it's a traditional 2 parents 2 kids, I'd go for BLT easy and I really adore OKW. Did a 2BR TPV at BLT when they opened and holy moly, that was AWESOME!

We did the 1 bedroom at BLT and it worked quite well. We were three adults, but we had two ECVs that we had to load in and out of a rental car, so Magic Kingdom days worked well to not have to do that.

The only issue we almost had was we went to a late dinner (6:45 PM or something like that) at Grand Floridian Cafe as we were able to snag a last minute reservation and we didn't know the monorails stopped so early, I think it was something like 8:00 PM since Magic Kingdom closed at 6 PM and we just barely caught the last one. Had we been even another 5 minutes we would have had a problem. Just something to consider if you make a late reservation.

Yes later dinner reservations at one resort, while staying at another, if you did not have a vehicle, can be problematic. A while ago we went to TOTWL at BLT staying at VGF. We caught the last monorail of the night. Not sure what we would have done if we missed it.

Ironically we did have a vehicle, but chose not to use it because we had two ECVs that we didn't want to load in and out again since we were at BLT and going to Grand Floridian. Never even thought that the monorail would stop so early. We are used to going when MK is open until at least 10 PM. Like I said, we caught the last one, but we cut it close.
