Would you do two studios at OKW or 1 bedroom at BLT? We want two bathrooms, so trying to figure out the best option.

I’d choose BLT two bathrooms and a kitchen 😊.
The only plus for OKW is the low points cost and the two beds in the studio instead of a pull out.

Why are those the two options?

You probably could have a 2BR at BWV or AKV for like the same point total. Have you looked at that option?

Well, due to current closures and food options, as well as what is available for our dates.

Availability will change all the time as you grow closer. So I wouldn't eliminate something based on it not being available now. These last 12 month have been very different than normal and will continue to be for availability.

As far as food options between BCV and BWV you are not going to find a location with more food options so close outside of SSR which has Disney Springs. Also I would expect all dining to reopen at AKV this summer as the hotel side opens (not sure when you are going).

With the info you have given, a 1br at BLT. You will have 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, washer and dryer, walk to MK and can ride monorail to eat at 2 other resorts.

Summer sure, sorry, thought I posted in the original post that we are looking at the end of February, doing a last minute trip. Currently, the menus at BWV and BCV don't work well for at least one member of our party. We are all adults, so even if we aren't right together, it is fine, but still working through everything. I don't think we will see a lot more availability opening before our trip given how close it is.

Except you understand the proximity of everything correct? What doesn't work?

Between boardwalk, beach club, yatch club, Swan, and Dolphin that covers a large variety of food. Then add in Epcot as well having the most variety.

I can't imagine BLT has something that those do not even discounting Epcot.

I saw a ton of variety come up in January for instance even the day before just keep checking.

I have just since mid December moved a full 10 day trip from BCV to BWV Standard to BWV Boardwalk View (just in last 5 days and we leave Friday).

I can't imagine you couldn't get a 2BR or 1BR at either of those resorts. Pretty much the only resort I would bet against is VFG which you likely could get a split stay in even.

How many people? If bathrooms are the only issue and it’s a family of 4. POLY and the 2 bathrooms in a studio might work.

You can get 2BRs at many resorts for less plus you get 2 actual rooms in addition to the main area.

In February (when they said they were going) for 7 nights:
POLY Standard View - 153 (306 for 2 studios)
BCV 2BR - 318
BWV 2BR Pref - 313
OKW 2BR - 264
BLT 2BR Std - 317
AKV 2BR Std - 266
AKV 2BR Sav - 322
SSR 2BR Pref - 308
CCV 2BR - 318
VWL 2BR - 320

I suspect you could get probably many of the 2BRs I listed if you kept checking and did some slow adding of nights initially/wait list.

Same could be said though for all the 1BRs out there you likely could even more easily get.

They don't have much right now, many of those places are still closed or have extremely limited menus with almost everything having beef, pork or mushrooms (a couple of other issues as well), especially for breakfast. BLT actually has many more options for specific dietary needs, including chicken sausage. Can't really count EPCOT due to current park hopping rules.

It is also more points for a two bedroom at BWV than a one bedroom at BLT. We also have stayed at BWV and not BLT.

Three people, but we will have two ECVs, so a studio would be cramped although we did consider it. Although the studio only has one toilet, oddly it isn't the shower/bath that is an issue, as we split between who takes showers at night and in the morning.

We did consider this, but again, menus are still limited. Two studios at Poly would be more than the 1 bedroom at BLT. Our dates Feb 19-Mar 1.

Ultimately we went with BLT for a variety of reasons, including having the monorail to Magic Kingdom.....would be even better if the Monorail to EPCOT was open, but we will also have a rental car for the entire trip because for the days we need it, it would cost just as much to rent from the car care center (well $10 less) and the rental will be able to hold both scooters, which will be better than the buses.

Most of the buildings at OKW do not have elevators, so you'd need to request first floor for medical needs. And then you might not be in the same building since most only have two studio on the first floor (a few buildings have four and you can get two side by side, but they don't have a window, just the patio door).

Yes, this was indeed another factor that pushed us towards BLT

Or, use the kitchen in one of the 2BR's (or even 1BR) and bring your own chicken sausage and pick a room that provides good space. With the kitchen the special menus can be less of a necessity.
