Two Singles or a Double - the neverending debate???!!!

Yea, I know the Graco Duo is bulky on the shuttle (from parking lot~we stay off site). I have had a 3rd pair of hands....so I was in charge of it (most experience) & my dh & mom wrangled the kids.
I love the idea of not bringing it this year. Wondering how I can pull it off. They do like to argue that if one is sitting, they all seem to want to sit. Obviously the 2 year old, but my ds does not have the greatest stamina. He is small & has had heart issues.....

then there is the airport late at night issue (Ohare.....so not small)
I can't justify buying ANOTHER stroller, as I barely use the Chicco I have

Two singles and umbrella strollers at that. We took one with us and ended up purchasing another at the resort during our stay. It was $40 and has become my favorite of our umbrella strollers - taller, padded handles.

my vote: The double, its there if you need it and it's there if you don't! LOL It can hold all of your extras. Also, if it reclines and can be covered in the rain that is always a bonus. On my last trip(with a 17 months and 5 yrs) my 5 yr old would hop in when he needed a break. I t also reclined so my 17 month old could nap more comfortably.

Interesting thread as I have a 3.5 yo and a 3.5 month old.

Does anyone know if the mentioned stroller connectors will work on two different, yet similarly styled strollers? My kids are both pretty heavy...40 pounds for the 3.5 yo and a whopping 19 lbs for the 3.5 mo. I have an Inglesina Trip that would work well for the baby, but could I connect it to a Mac for my older child?

If that doesn't work, does anyone know if you could connect two different styles of macs, like a Volo or Triumph with a Quest or Techno?

I vote for a double! The kids sleep well & we can store all of our stuff. Plus with only 2 1/2 yrs difference between your kids, you won't be splitting up much. We add some extra Carry You cup holders & storage bags to our stroller and make it do all the work for us. Bigger strollers are helpful in the airport too.

Plus we are finally on the monorail system this year- so no fold down!

Im glad we did two singles while we were in the parks this past year. That way when we took our DD on a ride my parents could take ds with them.
