We are going to visit the Mouse again early next year. The previous 4 times my sons have been to Disney, sleeping in the same bed was not a problem, but now at 14 and 12 (15 and 13 when we go back), the thought of sleeping in the same bed creeps them out. :scared:

We were wondering if getting connecting rooms at CBR, the resort my wife and I like to visit and stay at would be worth the cost or one room at the Contemporary? We like getting up early and taking a stroll around the lake before heading out.

And anyone who has stayed at the Contemporary, feel free to give me your opinions. Heck, we are open to other resorts as well, but need separate beds for the teens.

Check out the Bunk Bed rooms at WL or AKL. Works great for my two teens! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Cheaper than two rooms at CBR.

How would getting 1 room at the CR get you enough beds for your sons? Wouldn't it still be 2 beds?
Perhaps you could try the WL and get a bunkbed room? That might workout for your bed situation and the ground there are beautiful for walking! Trails lead right into the woods and to the FW resort.

CR has 2 queen beds, and a daybed/couch. :goodvibes

I'd go with two connecting rooms (and two bathrooms) at either CBR or Pop Century , wihch I think your boys might like better than CBR.

herc.

I'd also do the connecting rooms. I'd check into CSR as well. Your boys would love the main pool area and slide.

I think most deluxes have the pull-out sofa to make an extra bed. I recommend any deluxe. ;) I noticed you mentioned you enjoy an early-morning stroll around the lake. So I'd like to point you towards the Epcot resorts (BWI, YC, BC). Gorgeous area. The resorts form a "loop" around the lake. You can walk (or boat) to both Epcot and Studios. It's a fantastic area full of things to do, including ESPN Club right on the boardwalk.

Another option is Poly. I say this because of the lush grounds to stroll around on. Great transportation with the monorail, great pool, great restaurants, great standard room views.

WL and AKL with the bunk beds are also great options. Nice grounds for walking around too.

Contemporary (CR) is a great Disney resort where you can walk to MK. However, it doesn't have the lush grounds that you seem to be looking for.

Keep in mind you'll need to check with Disney on exactly which resorts have the pull-out sofa. We've never utilized one, so I have never really paid attention.

My wife likes the thought of not sharing a bathroom with the boys. I believe she has settled on the idea of 2 rooms at CBR. Plus it gives her more privacy. Thanks for the input. :cheer2:

We just got back a few weeks agon and had two rooms at CSR with two teenage girls in one room and my DW and I had a king. IT was great not having to share the bathroom with them.

We now do the connecting rooms at Pop! We love having two baths!

Normally I would try to recommend the Contemporary, however based on your situation it might be better for two rooms at Caribbean Beach.
