Two Resorts during my trip to Disney

Hello,

I have a question about park passes, I am renting points for two nights at SSR
and then staying at the Wilderness Lodge Hotel for the remainder of my trip.

Can I get my park passes at SSR or do I have to get them from my AAA office before I leave for SSR?

Can I get my luggage transferred from SSR to the Wilderness Lodge Hotel?

I hope to purchase SSR DVC soon, I though this would be a nice way to experience the resort prior to my purchase, I am trying for the congress park building for my two night stay. I have a 13 month old, 6 year old and 4 year old, will the bus system have long delays.

You can get your MYW passes either way, but I suspec the AAA might be a couple dollars cheaper.

Disney will transfer you luggage for you. Just inform them on your checkout/checkin day.

Trying out SSR is a good idea. Two days,however, isn't enough to determine much. We don't care for SSR and it took us more than 2 days to realize it. At first we loved it but as the days wore on we found it didn't really fit our vacation style all that well. 5-7 days would be much better if you could swing it. Also, how exactly do you know that you will be staying in the Congess Park section? You may have requested that but there are no guarantees. Just wanted to give you a heads up about that so you aren't dissapointed. You may very well get it, who knows. They were using a room ready system when we were there. A room was available in the Congress Park section so we took it. We had a nice DTD view from our balcony overlooking the quiet pool. Even if they are assigning rooms I doubt they do it far in advance. Have a great trip and I hope this helps a little.

You can get park passes at SSR or AAA...AAA may be cheaper.

Moving from resort to resort is easy...call bell Services and let them take your stuff.

Are you starting at SSR and the moving to Wilderness Lodge Hotel??? I will tell you that if you are in a 1BR or larger at a DVC resort, going from the DVC to a regular hotel will be a bit of a letdown, due to the decrease in space.

When DH & travel, if we are splitting our stay we do the regular hotel first and then move to the DVC.

If you are going from an SSR studio to the WL Hotel, it won't be as much of a culture shock.
