Two quick questions about All-Stars Resorts ...

I just received our confirmation in the mail for our Fairytale Package vacation (there was a bit of a snafu -- the confirmation said we were booked at ASSp when I'd requested ASMu, but a quick call to the CRO cleared that up as a typo, thankfully!) While looking it over, two questions popped into my head that I hope someone can give me a quick answer to!

1. When do we receive our UPH passes? Are these something you pick up upon arrival at the resort?

2. What are the hours for the food courts at the AS resorts? I'm hoping they open pretty early, because we'll want to take advantage of as many EMHs as possible. The earlier they open, the quicker we can get outta there and into the magic! ;-)

Thanks in advance for the info!

Your UPH will be "on your room key" or that is how they were for us. So, when you get your room key, it is the same as your tickets.

I think the food courts stayed open until 11:00 or so when we were there. I am sure soemone will no for sure, though.

The food courts have always been open when we walk through on our way to EMH. You can also get donuts and milk the day before to have in your room. The gift shop has a small selection of breakfast foods. We always take breakfast items to eat in the room to save time.

The food courts open around 6:00 AM. On our last trip, I was so excited to be there, I just couldn't sleep. Finally, around 5:30 I just got up and dressed and walked down to the food court and they were just opening.

Perfect! Exactly the info I was looking for ... I'm hoping to get DF and I down to the foodcourt by 7:30AM most mornings so we can get an early start on our day. Thanks for everyone's help!

Upon checking into the hotel you will be asked if you want to use a credit card for room charges. If you do, this will also be added to your room key, which actually looks like a Disney Credit Card that has the name of your party and the dates of your stay, along with the name of the resort. You will use this to open your room, to get into the parks, and if you authorize purchases made to your room, you can then charge it all using this card, which is computer coded with a magnetic strip, just like a credit card.

Don't forget, any purchases made throughout your stay, with the exception of the day before departure, can be sent directly to your hotel if you are staying onsite. This is any park, store throughout WDW. I loved this convenience and I also loved the fact that I was able to ship things home without having to run to a post office, packing and lugging things around. It makes it so much easier.
