1st: I am getting married at Sea Breeze at 9am, staying at Beach Club, what is the best way to get over to the Boardwalk Hotel for the ceremony. A limo? Anyone using outside companies?

2nd: Should I be concerned with how all of the guests are going to arrive at the ceremony should they not rent a car? Should I provide transportation for them being it's so early in the am. I have guests staying all over, All Stars, Port Orleans etc.

Thanks!

Maybe you want to give them a call. :flower:

you could use the limo/charter bus transfers (which you purchase through disney), the friendship boat from the yacht club to the boardwalk or walk the bridge from the beach club to seabreeze point. personally i think the limo/charter bus would be easiest.

we are getting married at the yc gazebo & staying at the yc so we will be just walking down to the garden for our ceremony.

as for your guest transportation, the charter bus transfer is nice to include not just for its convinience for your guests but also theres no getting lost with directions, being late for the wedding & for after the reception there would be no drunk drivers. we are going to provide charter bus for our guests & bridal party to & from the wedding. we are also going to use an outside service either mears or absolute limo (havent picked yet) for some prewedding events ie the rehearsal & dinner, my bridal luncheon & groom's fishing excursion.

best of luck with your plans katie!

1- for you, you might want a Limo. you can get one through your EM, which will go towards your minimum (I think). If I recall, Golden Limo the one I used when I proposed to DW. 407-869-9007 (If it the mods edit the Phone number out, I will PM it to you). It is a fairly short walk to the BW from the Beach club. I am trying to remember where SeaBrease is. It is about 1/4 mile. There is also the Epcott/MGM Friendship boats (I think you want the one going to EPCOT, but I am having memory problems today)

2- The answer all depends on how many guests you have, how much you want to spend, and how able they are at negotiating complex routes. Disne discourages "Resort Hopping" in their transportation services. At 9:00AM logistics may be weird. A bus might be a good option, but I am not sure of the cost. I think that your EM can arrange transport for you, if not, try Miers...407-839-1570. You can always suggest a cab as well (Miers does them as well)

I hope this helps,

Thanks again for your help!!! As usual you answered my questions!!!

1 - I was married at 5pm at the Wedding Pavilion and got ready at the Grand Floridian. We had a limo pick up the guys at the hotel where they got ready, bring them tot he ceremony, and then come get us, and drive us over. We had the reception at the Boardwalk, and had 2 limos to take the bridal party over. We had 5 bridesmaids, 4 groomesmen, a flower girl, a ringbearer, and my DH and myself... so we needed 2. We used an outside company, Lorden Transportation. He was great!!!! He gave us a great price, and it was so much better then what Disney offered.

2 - We had 90 guests at our wedding. Everyone from out of town. Some had their own cars, others had rental cars. We did not worry about their transportation. Noone even questioned it!

Hope this helps
Jamie

For those who have had the wedding at the Pavilion and reception at the GF...have you used transportation for guests?? It doesn't seem like the walk is that bad. Thanks! :flower:

You are probably going to want to walk from Beach Club to SBP. SBP is not much closer to the Boardwalk Inn lobby than it is to the Beach Club.
