What's the deal with the Barber Shop? Do you have to have an appointment? Also is there a minimum age they take? My son will be 10 months old when we go in May and he needs a hair cut now. But we want wait until Disney.

Also, I have heard that you can get a crib for your hotel room. We are staying at POFQ. How exactly does that work? Is there an extra charge for the crib?

Thanks

The Barber Shop is first come/first served. The earlier you get there, the better. Especially during peak times.

Not sure about the crib. I don't think there's a charge for it. But since I don't have kids, don't take my word for it!

No extra charge for the crib (it may be a pack and play). Just call housekeeping when you get to the room, or tell them when you check in, and they'll bring one to the room with a fitted sheet.

I don't think there's a minimum age for the barber shop - I've never heard anyone mention it. They do a nice job with first haircuts - they snip a lock of hair and give it to you in a baggie, along with a First Haircut certificate and a free pair of Mickey ears. You can take some cute pictures while they're cutting too. We're taking our 13 mo. old for his first haircut there in May.

Have fun!

The crib will most likely be a pack n play. If you have a baby that will not sleep in one (I had 2 that would never sleep in one!), you might want to consider renting a real crib. We've always used A Baby's Best Friend ( www.abbf.com ) and have always been pleased. HTH-Dana

The last few times we went and stayed at the wilderness lodge there was a pack in play in the closet even thouhg we did not ask for one. We haven't needed a crib for many years but when we did they never charged.

DID you stay inthe villas? I think that pack and plays are standard in all of the villas now.

We have a pack in play thing, but I am not sure he will settle down in it. I will have to check out the rent-a-crib place.
