Two questions about the 3x rewards pin with the Disney Visa

1. I got a pin card in the mail for my Disney Visa for the latest 3X rewards
and my five-year-old has hid it right now, so can I just call Chase and get
my account in the program without having the actual pin with me?

2. When my category says vehicle exspense is that considered a gas
purchase?

I received one that started July 1 and goes to Sept 30th I believe. I did it online but then ended up shredding the info and now I have forgotten all the categories and how much I have to spend

I know about some but not sure of any others.
Gas
Groceries
Airlines
Dining

Hi I have my 3X Mailing and it states that it is good on Dining, Gas, Airlines and Groceries. You have to spend $1,000 each month in any single category or comination of those lised. This is not the best offer and I will only accumulate a few bonus dollars.

wow thats a pretty good deal!! how many times have you guys received that promotion? i've had this card since 2008 and i havent gotten one yet. i wonder how they pick who gets the promo... hmmm

Mine was for less than $1000 actually.

This is the 2nd time we have gotten this type of promo & we got our card in final quarter of '07.

Mine was for $750, it's different for every account.
I got my card at the same time as you and I feel like over the last year or so I've always had one of these pins on the account. I only ever spend enough in those categories when I happen to buy plane tickets though

Ya, its kinda of a joke. I mean, almost all the grocery stores come up as other. And I am not sure about vehicle expense or not. I don't bother with them when they do have the categories now.

Yes, but no worries. I called last year when I had this offer and asked about that and had them look up the store I usually shop at for groceries and she said it's good, but places like Wal-Mart or Super Target don't work. It has to be an actual Grocery store only.

With a family of 4 we easily spend over a $100 a week on groceries. Even all those fast food joints can add up. I think even stand alone Starbucks also are in the dining category. Every time you fill up the tank as well. It does add up pretty fast.

I got another email about this so it looks we just have to spend over $500 in each or the combination of those categories.
