Two Questions About Pool

I cannot sleep! Tomorrow AM we leave for WDW. I have two question about the pool(if we get to use it due to rain).

1. If we arrive early and our room is not ready can we just hang out by the pool until it is? Also, day of check out can we hang out at the pool for a little bit after check out?

2. I have a 3 year old, can she bring her arm wing floaties into the pool?

If you get there early and your room isn't ready...yes, your free to use the pool and anything else there. I'm not sure about after check out. Hope this helped some.
