Two pins stolen from me today!

Just thought I would share my experience....

I was in a trading room desperately trying to get a teleportation pin and was in a trade with someone. He denied my trade after a long time and the window closed. I then noticed that the two pins I put up for trade were GONE! I could not figure out how he did it, but he had them.

I soon reported it to VMK Staff and after a few minutes my pins were returned to me. A few people I spoke to today said VMK Staff is now doing this when bad trades occur.

I VMK Staff!!!!

Be careful with your trades everyone!!!!

are you sure he had them? If you did not hit accept then I do not beleive there is anyway for him to have your pins.

There is a couple of trading bugs that I know of...

one is like what you mentioned you put something up for trade then change your mind and it looks like the things are missing from your inventory when really they are not and usually just return by themselves.

If that is the case, you should remove this players name because it would not be fair to him to tarnish his reputation.

I've seen a bug in VMK where if you enter a trade, and you double-click items to put them into the "offer" area, then you leave the trade without actually trading anything, the items you offered will disappear from your inventory.

They reappear on their own after a little while - it might require that you go to a different room, then they'll show up again.

Hm, I am not sure, but he refused to talk to me after the trade. I'll remove his name anyway

You could try to reproduce this with somebody - enter a trade, offer something worthless, then leave the trade and see if the item is gone from your inventory and whether it reappears after a little while.

It happened to me. I VMK'er asked to trade for my teleportation pin. I had clicked on accept and he removed his items... I had a bad feeling about it because he had never clicked his accept so I unchecked mine really superfast. My teleportation pin was missing I thought for sure he had taken it. The next day it reappeared

My DD had the same experience.

If you don't hit accept and the window closes you still have your items, it just takes a minute for them to go back into your furnishings, etc. Happened to me today, thought I lost a lot but it came back after a few minutes.

will that happened to me too but in disneyland i went to help my frend we tookm and when i came back a boy was on there trading all my stuff i was mad but i got over it and now i use my old one.when i told his dad he said i dontnow you and dont want to talk to i was so sad but right now i got better stuff
