I'm coming close to the date when I can make my ADR's. I only have 5 days until my 90 day window! I wanted to make two ADR's but not sure what restaurants. I think one restaurant will be Ohana's. (any advice or comments)? Always wanted to go and had an ADR on my last trip to Disney. Due to technical difficulties on "It's a Small World" and the Monorail we never got to Ohana's. :scared1:
Don't know where else to go for my second restaurant. I am traveling with my nephew of 17 so character meals aren't necessary. So here are my questions:

1. If you only could make 2 ADR's for your trip which restaurants would you choose??

2. Forgot to mention, I am on the Quick Service Dining Plan. Only thought about doing one - two ADR's to break up the trip with a sit down restaurant or two. Is it worth it to me or should i just stick to the quick service stuff?

Last but not least, on our last trip we dined at Sci-Fi, 1900 Park Fare & Whispering Canon. My nephew likes Sci-Fi, like the atomsphere but not the food. 1900 Park Fare was really for my niece who was 8 at the time. We all loved Whispering Canon but I wanted to try some place I haven't been yet. I've also gone to 50's Prime time in the past.

Thanks for all your advice and help!!!

If the idea is to break up a vacation of mainly CS meals with just a couple of sit down meals, what about making those one or two meal something special & doing a signature restaraunt or two? Since you'll be paying OOP anyway, you don't need to be concerned w/ the meal being "worth" 2 TS DDP credits -- which is what often steers folks away from the signatures.

The usual signature reccomendations are Jiko(AKL), Narcoosees(GF), Citricos(GF), California Grill(CR), Artist Point(WL), Yachtsman Steakhouse(YC), and Flying Fish(BW). I don't think I left any out. :) Just check out menus onine to see which appeals to you more.

My pick two would be Le Cellier and Yak & Yeti. If we were going for atmosphere, I'd switch out 50s for Le Cellier.

We enjoy the Coral Reef because of the atmosphere and the food! We arent picky eaters at all...I know Coral Reef doesnt always get the best reviews but we really enjoy it.

Id also recommend the Cape May Cafe, no characters for dinner but we thought the food was very good.

Another place I havent tried, but will this June is Teppan Edo! It seems like a winner good food plus good atmosphere!

Le Cellier or Teppan Edo in Epcot/a park and Boma in AKL/a resort. :thumbsup2
