I'm reading that IOA will have a Hogwarts Projection show and Universal will have a water show when we go. I'm wondering will it be possible to see both shows in one night or should we get two day tickets?

We're not big coaster fans so when we go I will be looking for characters, might possibly try minions ride, Animal show (is that still there?), ET, we'll walk simpsons area but not ride, and we'll walk harry potter areas but not ride anything but hogwarts express, if there's shows we like to watch those. In IOA we like the Seuss landing area as well but again Cat in the hat is probably the only thing we'd ride there but if there's characters I'd queue for photos. Would we get all that and two night time shows done in one day with a slow walker?

Is there a parade now as well or is that only on certain times?

You don't say when you are going but here is the schedule up to Aug 11th: https://www.universalorlando.com/we...ormation/show-times/index.html#show-times-ioa

There is a parade that varies in "show time" throughout the year.

You could definitely take in both night-time shows by watching an earlier showing of the Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts and then taking the Hogwarts Express over to Studios.
We’d be going in January but read the ticket prices are going up this week so wanted to get them before the price hike

If your plans are for one day, buy the one day 2 park ticket in advance

You can always buy a second day while in the park

Can I ask where you heard that? I've been putting off buying but if it looks like prices are going up I'll go buy our tickets.

I’m curious also on where you read that prices are going up this week

Prices in past years, increased at the end of the year(December)

I either saw it here or on facebook they'd be the only two sites I follow for holiday stuff but I saw tickets will be going up on the 26th of July :confused3

That's what I'm thinking, I'm just not sure that we'd get everything we want done in one day but equally not sure we need two days.

For those asking about where I saw about the price change I found it today it’s on attraction tickets direct

That is a UK site, so they may be increasing price. but in the states we just had an increase I think in Feb and I can not find any of my usual information spots saying anything about it.

I’m in Ireland not the US
