Sorry to bombard you with questions lately, but I have another couple. If the ticket you're using to upgrade has a higher value than the annual pass, what happens with the "leftover"?

As an example: Let's say you have a 5 day hopper and you decide to upgrade the ticket to a SoCal Annual pass. The dollar amount of the 5 day hopper is actually greater than the SoCal Pass, even with parking. Do they refund you a difference? Do nothing? Give you a gift card or something?

My other question has to do with SoCal single day admission. I will have DH, two DS's who are "adult" according to Disney, and my parents. Who will they ask for id's? Would it be everyone in the party? All the true adults in the party? Just one of us (like whoever picks up the tickets?)

You cannot use park admission with a higher value than the AP to upgrade... it must be an actual "up"-grade, so the AP price must be higher than the passport price. If you can add features, such as parking pass, and stroller pass to the AP to bring the price up over the price of the passport, that is allowed.

You will need to show proof of residency for anyone using the SoCal tickets. I don't know about the minors... probably would have to show the parent's ID since the kids won't have any???
