I can't believe my first solo trip is almost here. I am both excited and nervous at the same time a a bit sad as well.
As i posted some time ago, my husband passed away and we were suposed to go to Walt Disney World for our anniversary in May. I thought and thought and after asking for some advice here I decided to go. I know I will be alright and I will have a good time as my husband would have wanted it that way. He will be with me I know. :)
If anyone is planning on being in the world May. 15 thru the 22nd and would like to have a drink or a meal please let me know.

I am very sorry about your hubby's passing. . .it seems you are adjusting nicely. . .he would probably want that. Anyway. there will be a whole crop of Dissers the weekend of the 14th through the 18th of May. Join us for monorail crawl on the 15th at 9 p.m. or the KP adventure on the 17th at 3:30. Any other time, just join us. . .

And a virtual hug to you. I'm so sorry about your husband. I think it's great that you've chosen to go ahead and make the trip, though I do think it'll be a little bittersweet at times. (More sweet than bitter, I hope.) I am unfortunately going to be there and gone before you get to town, otherwise, I'd have joined you for a drink at least. Be sure to check out Rich and Adrian's thread...there seem to be several others who are traveling at the same time as you. Have a wonderful trip!
