Hi

Does anybody have fool proof instructions for loading a second i-pod onto a PC with it's own playlist of tunes. My neph and I are buying his mother an i-pod for Christmas and I just know that she will not want his tunes. I have read the instrcutions from Apple but I do not understand them.

Thanks for any help

Hi,
I run 3 i pods on our laptop, and to be honest all I did was go to the preferences and select which playlists I wanted to share, this was you can have one on one ipod, then if you don't want it on your other ipod you just make sure that the box isn't ticked. It will automatically add the playlists on the ipod to itunes when you connect but just make sure that you choose your sharing preferences before you updat your ipod - i would recommend disableing the auto update to as you could end up with everything on it!

far too complicated and confusing is the Apple instructions, plus its easy to get it wrong.
We have ours registered on different computes, mine on the desktop, the wife on one of the Laptops
