Two home resorts ? Thought I had one

So In October last year I purchased 160 point contract on from the owners on one of the usual places. It was for SSR. Simple right ? I noticed on the DVC website a few months ago that it showed tgat I have two home resorts, the other one being Boulder Ridge. I thought it was a glitch. Today I clicked on something that lead me to a page that shows both of the resorts as my home resorts and the points avail. There is a number in parentheses after the resort names that are different. BR shows 0 points avail while SSR shows 199(there were banked points). Both have an Aug use year. . I’m confused. Can anyone explain what happened here ? Thanks in advance

Calling or chatting into Member Services would be advisable.

Probably somebody hit a key or button wrong, particularly since your SSR seems correct.

Did you purchase any OTU points? Those are added to a temporary contract ti your account to hold them.

The resort matches what you were given. It will stay until the end of the UY.

Yes, that's it. The OTU points they sold you are from BRV.

OTUPs can come from any resort since they are being used to reserve after the home resort booking period is over.

When you buy OTU points then come from any of the resorts.

In order for you to get them, they put ia temporary contract into your account.

What this means is the OTU points you got are from BRV.

That happened to me. I was seeing Aulani resort until June 1st, when my previous UY ended.

Boy, that is confusing! I have not yet bought any OTU points, but glad I know about this now, for when/if I do.
