Two family`s one world!
I`ve been planning this trip since May! Here are the cast members
Me (early for everything , so we dont miss it) also celebrating a birthday this trip
my DH (he follows me and says ok , whatever you wanna do)
my DD-10 (the birthday princess who reached double digits this trip!)
my DD-8 (climber of anything he can climb on, and totally here to torture his sister!
And the 2nd family
Sandy (my close friend who plans nothing)
Her DH Michael who also follows me and says ok what next)
and their kids twins 7 y/o 1 boy (who wants to do everything twice b/c he is fascinated with it all and his sister (who tells every character they are her favorite!)
Today was a one family day, not sure what Sandy and Michael did today, they called us while I was at DTD and said they might meet us later, but it didnt happen
Chef Mickey`s is my favorite Character breakfast! I love the food, the atmosphere, twirling napkins, well you get the idea! We finally got to wish Mickey a happy belated birthday (this was our first encounter with him........and he shares his birthday with my DD`s Nov 18th!) He hugged her when she told him they share the same birthday! I got it on video! I was able to just say NO THANK YOU to the family picture package (the photographer was graciously kind enough to take one with my own camera)
After I was second guessing my decision, what if our cameras picture didnt come out....................not to worry ours was the best family pic we got all week! I will try and go back and add pictures as soon as I get my scanner up and running.
Then my DD and I decided to ditch the boys and go do what we girls do best DOWNTOWN DISNEY!!!!!!!!!!!!! can we say charge it! LOL Planning on meeting them at MGM by 4:30. What a chore they make it trying to get back to a park from there! We actually had to go back to POP to get a bus to MGM..............I guess to stop ppl not staying at a resort from using the bus system....like they couldnt just go to any resort anyway. whatever.
We dash to RNR in the rain and it was an hour wait......................at least we were out of the rain...........we did have about an hour and a half b4 we had to meet my DH and DS. Got to sit in the first car, if you ask they will make it happen! Awesome ride, last trip we did this one 3 times in a row. I`m thinking about my 2 friends in Philly, who have tickets for Areosmith on Wed nite, and laughing to myself I`m seeing them up close right now, wouldnt they be jealous! HA HA!
Thank god the rain has stopped , but we are right where we said we`d meet the boys and its only 4:00........................ok maybe we`ll sit and wait for them....................ok well lets walk up to beauty and the beast show.........Oh no the show is starting, should we go in, we wont be out in time to meet my DH and DS..............Hey they were thinking the same thing, they are early, wow after 11 years of marriage we still have the mental thing going on! So we all got to enjoy the show! Don`t miss it if you have never seen it..............its better than broadway.....I dont think the actors get paid enough!
We walked back to try and do cameras, lights, action stunt show, but stumbled on to the power rangers instead! Got some great pictures of my son with the white ranger, and the blue ranger b/4 they all got in the car and drove away! I got a good picture of the car with them all on it!
Walking around from there we see a winter scene, perfect photo opp! Would of been a great christmas card pic, got someone to take a few of all of us and we did the same for them. They came out cute, too far away for a card, but really nice for the album!
By now we were starving and with no dinner reservations we were stuck with eating at ABC commissary where I ran into George Lopez (a cardboard george, anway) my DH took a pic of me and the kids with him, i mean it........when we were in Jamaica last year my DH got his pic taken with Paris Hilton cardboard and its our on going joke, so I figured this would be funny too! You really gotta do a double take on this pic, it looks like him for real!
It was now pretty cold out, and with no jackets we decide to call it a day and go back to POP and chill out with a cocktail and let the kids play some arcade games b4 bed. another great day in the happiest place in the world!
