Is it possible to book two DVC units at the same time for the same location?
I have a 2BR unit in Jan. Some friends may visit and I may need to book another unit for them. Can I book it with points even if I'm not going to be in that unit? Can I book it for cash with the DVC discount, if I'm not staying in the unit?

(I'm getting tired of trying to plan for all these people. But then I remember they're coming to cheer me on in the marathon. They just can't make up their minds as to whether they can get down there or not. Driving me  )

You can book as many villas simultaneously as you have points for whether they be for friends, family or even renters.

You can book for cash for a friend but, the DVC discount is intended to be for the benefit of the DVC owner when the owner is staying in the villa.

If you end up having to book a second 2 bedroom villa for cash, you would have to be the one staying in it, but then what difference does that make. The "cash" stay can still be paid for by your guests, and you stay in the room. All the rooms are the same, so no difference there. Just semantics as to who paid for what.

If you are going to book another unit by points, highly advise you attempt immediately. That Marathon time is likely going to be difficult to get right now particularly in you are looking for BCV, VWL, or BWV.
