Two different room reservation numbers....is this an issue?

Over the weekend I checked into our resort using the on-line check in feature. A friend of ours booked a room for us with DVC points. She gave me the written confirmation letter and I used that confirm # to check-in, got an e-mail back all seems good.

Well today I received an e-mail suggesting that I check-in online since my trip is coming up but the confirmation number was different. I looked it up and the itinerary is identical.

I didn't give my this particular e-mail address to my friend since it is my "junk" e-mail. The e-mail I received was to the address I made my dining ADRs with, I also have a disney.com login under that e-mail.

I've sent my friend a note to ask her if she thinks she should call, I don't want her points to get messed up. Should I be concerned that when I check in something might be fouled up?

Any thoughts on what is going on? Should I call someone (I figured I wouldn't get anywhere since my friend made the ressie)?

Just have the Member check things out. I wouldn't get upset over nothing.

I am contacting the member, I was just curious if it was a common occurence, since I found out about it late at night and of course then worry (for nothing probably). ;)
