Two different discounts--one stay?

Our trip will fall most likely in the summer and the fall discounts (if there are any). Has anyone booked a room using one discount and then booked a room using another (same stay)? Thanks.

Yes we booked a room only discount for our first two nights there then had free dining the last 8.

Yes and it ended up being a pain.

Granted we were part of the 2013 MB/FP+ test

We had 2 nights at YCCL and had to change rooms because they couldn't then (not sure about now) have 2 different discounts on the same reservation, so we ended up having to have a "split stay" for 2 nights.

We spent WAY too much time sorting out things related to kttwc and MBs at the CL desk.

It is done frequently. On the boards people call it a split stay, but they are actually 2 separate reservations so you will have to pay 2 deposits and even if you book the exact same resort/room category there is the possibility that you will have to change rooms.
