We are headed to Universal for our first trip in late June - dates right now are 6/23 - 6/24. We plan to stay onsite so we would have express pass. We did not plan this trip to see the new HP stuff but my son is a HUGE HP fan (me too
) so I know if Diagon Alley is open it will be must-see for us along with the original HP attractions. My son is also a huge coaster fan so we want to see as much of the rest of the parks as possible too. My original thinking was we could spend the mornings doing HP (one morning IOA, one morning USF) then do the rest of the park in the afternoons/evenings. However, I know it will be super hot and I wonder if we will need a break back at the hotel midday. I know the Express Pass should help us avoid super long waits in the afternoon/evenings but I am now questioning if two days will be enough. Are three days really necessary that time of year and/or because of the HP opening especially if we do not want to 'commando' tour the full two days? We can possible rearrange our schedule to include another day on 6/25. Would it be worth it? How much can we realistically expect to do in two days that time of year?
