Thinking about adding a visit to Sea World onto our WDW trip. Is Sea World enough for two days or do we only need one day?

Any tips on the best ticket deal?

Thanks!

No You will need more than 1day in SW, we always do two full days when we go. There are so many shows to see and some that are worth visiting twice, plus queues can get quite long on the few ridesthere are. I'm pretty sure that if you buy at the gate you can get buy one, get one free, although you might want to phone first to be sure. You will def have fun though, we LOVE SW!!!!

Love Verity.

Ps if you have anymore questions you can PM me.

Because of the number and timng of the shows it's almost impossible to make all of them in one day. IMHO SW is most definately a park where to get the most out of it you definately DO NOT want to be doing it in "Commando mode". SW is also quite spread out and there are a lot of animal exhibits that are difficult to say you need X amount of time on ( it depends if you like the animals and if they are doing anything fun/interesting) it's hard to give an exact plan for anyone else. However if you give an idea of ages, sex and interests of your group I'm sure people will be able to point out some things that may be of a particular interest.

we were there last week for our first time ever to SeaWorld (and Universal)

If you can, purchase your tix via the SeaWorld website more than 7 days in advance of your visit. They offer a discount if you can purchase more than 7 days in advance. If for some reason you do not use them, they are refundable.

Then, just purchase for one day. When you leave, right at the gate, they offer a return for a second day free. We obtained the 2nd day free, but ended up not going back.

For us, it was darn HOT. We got to the park just as it opened, picked up a map and headed for all the shows. We were able to catch the top four shows and an air-conditioned lunch at Shark's, feed the Rays and Dolphins, and visit the Clydesdales and leave by 3:00. (a storm was just about to start as we were heading to the car, so we did good to head out about then.) We did not ride any of the three rides they have. We would have done those had we returned the second day.

HTH and have a great time!

Thanks. I have two small kids so if anyone is willing to share any tips that would be great!

I know WDW parks like the back of my hand, but I'll be walking into Sea World going DUH!!!

Sea World is great and to see everything you want to, especially with small kids you definitely need two days. We spent one full day there and two half days there this February and that was the perfect amount of time for us. Sea World is great, totally different atmosphere from WDW, but a really awesome place.
