My son, age 11, and myself will only have two days at DLR, President's Day 2011 (Feb 21) and the day after. We plan to stay at the DLH but will arrive about 9:00pm Feb 20 after a Dr. Who Convention. Not sure if parks will still be open late?

Any suggestions on what attractions we should skip or at least place low on the to-do list?

We have seen the nighttime shows at WDW and honestly prefer to be on an attraction rather than stand around waiting for fireworks or Fantasmic. Not sure about wanting to see World of Color though.

We definitely want to experience items that are on the "only at DLR" and the "better at DLR" lists.

Son will tolerate the Fantasyland stuff in exchange for more exciting stuff but princess related stuff is not happening.

Suggestions?

Your son being eleven i could say would probably have a no go on the nemo submarines.....alot of fantasyland is for children and small world....being a boy he probably wouldnt enjoy that much either.
The must do's:
~Pirates
~Haunted M
~Space M
~Big Thunder M
~Matterhorn
~Indiana
~Splash M? I dont like this ride but he most likely would
~Toy story M
As long as you hit all of these your sure to have a fantastic ride either way! :)

If your DS is anything like my DS he's into video games. My DS loves Buzz Lightyear and Toy Story Mania because they are video game like. Also POTC at DLR is way better than at WDW.

I wouldn't spend too much time on the Autopia or the Nemo subs. DS thought they were both really boring.
