Kay, we leave in two days and I have some questions.

1. Does anyone know off hand the size of luggage that is allowed for Continental?

2. I know that if recorded videotapes are scanned in airport security, they may be deleted, what about a hard drive? Our camcorder has a hard drive it records on to, can that get deleted?

3. My son has a card game that is in a tin case, can that be packed on his carry-on?

4. If I want to check my stroller with the rest of the luggage, does it need to be in a bag of some sort? And will ME pick it up?

Thanks so much! Just some random thoughts I had last night lying in bed! :rotfl:

I can help you with the video tape question. Yes they do get scanned. Everything gets scanned. I would put your tapes with your checked luggage. The hard drive should be ok. They scan computers without harming then. I think your cameras HD would be the same sort of thing. Go on your airlines web site. most of that info should be there. :)

Enjoy your trip!

I keep all video tapes and sd card in my carry on so if they lose my luggage they don't lose my tapes!

Is it an umbrella stroller? If so, you can gate check it!

You can even take the large strollers to the gate for a gate check and they don't charge you extra. I always take my BIG graco with me when I travel and I've never had any problems.

Thanks for the help. I think the camcorder will be okay, and we are gonna check the stroller as luggage. It's a big one and DS will not ride in it at the airport (he told me not even to pack it! :lmao: DS turns 3 on Friday thinks he is 13!). Thanks again!
