Two Days for a US Newbie

Hello! We will be making our first trip to Universal Studios this June. We will be at Disney for 6 days, then heading over to US. We will stay on sight with express passes, with park to park.

I am planning to check in at US maybe around noon on a Friday; and eventually checking out on a Sunday.

We are mostly there for Harry Potter. My daughter will not go on the thrill rides.

My question is whether a day and a half is enough to visit both parks, see the HP stuff; and some of the other major rides?

weekends can be busy in the parks.
if you are going near the end of June, you'll be thankful for the early entry and express line usage.
crowds will be starting in the later part of June.
family vacation time period.

take advantage of the early entry for Potter stuff.

check out www.universalorlando.com in advance and get the layout of the parks and where the rides/shows, rest rooms, eateries are located in advance.
this will help if you run into crowds.

also, you can figure out in advance which rides would appeal to the two of you before you get to the parks.
then aim for the rides/shows that will be on your must do list.
