Two day hopper ticket or Three day base ticket

Arriving Sat. evening and leaving Wed afternoon. Would a 2 day ticket with hopper be better than a 3 day base ticket? DH wants to rest on the 3rd day or go to a water park. What would you do? I'm leaning towards 2 day with hopper just to get all 4 parks in. I visit Disney at least once a year.

A 3 day base ticket would be of no use if you are only going to a theme park 2 of the 3 full days so I'd get the 2 day park hopper.

Obviously, only you know what will work best for your family.

Personally, with 3 days to spend, I wouldn't spend one day resting or doing a water park, I would get a 3 day base ticket, and enjoy 3 of the parks for a full day each. That, however, may not be what will work best for your family.

I'd do the 2 day hopper + express transportation. Sounds like you go often and know what your favorites are. I do too and there's no way I would want to locked into a specific park for the entire day with such a short trip. If you're going to be taking the third day off like DH wants, a 3 day base would be useless anyway - you'd waste the third day of it.

If you're definite on going to a water park, then the ticket you really want is the 2-day park hopper PLUS ticket. It's only about $16 more than the park hopper and gives you two entries to the water park. Granted, you only want one, but a one-day water park ticket is $66.

Personally I'd go with a park hopper ticket as it allows you to see and do more. If one park is too busy then you have the flexibility to switch parks.
