Two Contracts, One Reservation?

We have 2 contracts with different use years.

I want to book a 4 night trip for next May using up banked points from one contract for 1 night of the trip and then using the other contract for the remaining 3 nights.

I called MS and they said it is no problem, they will link the 2 reservations together and I will not have to change rooms.

I will be booking the same size room (1 bedroom) at the same resort (BWV) with the same view (boardwalk view).

Has anyone done this before and did you have to switch rooms? Just looking for some reassurance. Thanks!

If the reservations are linked, then you won't have to change rooms. You may, however, be required to get new key cards on the date of the switch.

Would you want to transfer from one account into the other so you can have all points then coming from one place? I think you have to let MS know you want to transfer a day or so ahead of time.

I have 3 contracts 3 different UY's and I have had no problems...I usually have to use at least 2 contracts to get enough points for my resses....Don't worry...it will be fine..

If their linked and the unit size and views match, you are set. This IS the way to do this. One caveat is that in this situation, MS will let you transfer banked/borrowed points to finish out a reservation assuming there are no home resort conflicts. You may have to ask for a supervisor though.

Thanks for the replies. I cannot transfer the banked points from one contract (unless they give me an exception as per Dean) and then I don't want to transfer the points into the account that already has the banked points because I will be traveling in May and that use year is June.

Zurgswife, I am very glad to hear that you do this and have no problems.

Thanks!:wave2:
