Two buys at the same time

Anyone know of issues with buying resale and direct at the same time? Two different resorts. We already started the process of our resale. We were going to put off the direct buy for a while but are now thinking about getting on the wait list as soon as we can.

If you wait on the resale to complete, then your direct buy could be an add-on so you would only have 1 master contract number. Makes managing your points a bit easier.

If your guide can expedite the sale, you could have your account set up in a few days and your resale would be an add-on.

I caution you though to wait until the pixie dust is out of your eyes and you have experienced the highs and lows of DVC ownership first hand.

Agree, there are many more lows these days, the new 'boss' just appears to have his bonu$ in mind.

Make your retail purchase conditional on the resale being combined to the master. If they won't, just wait until you're set up on the resale but be ready to go with the guide day 1. Even once set up on the resale but before your points are loaded should be fine.
