OKW or SSR

Hi, I like OKW because you get TWO beds in the second bedroom and LOTS more room in the Kitchen/Family room area!! We(Dh and myself) stayed in a 2 bedroom at OKW in May(we were in walking distance of the MAIN pool) with my 2 adult children and our 14 year old. Each adult child had their own bed(and TV) and my 14 year old got the couch bed and his own TV. They also have a nice combo breakfast at the "GOODS to GO" near the pool which a couple of us would pick up each morning and take back to the room and enjoy at the large dining table. Joan

We had a 2-bedroom at SSR in May '07, with 2 Queen beds in the second bedroom. Just request a Dedicated 2-bedroom. Although we did not request it, we got it. We all (Me, DH, DD, dad, sis, and BIL) loved our beautiful, spacious villa!

The units at OKW are much larger and require fewer points.

We've stayed in both a few times and love them both. I like SSR because of its decor but the rooms in OKW are larger. It is a hard choice.

the balcony at OKW is much bigger than SSR - it has a table and 4 chairs.

SSR has a tiny table (ottman size) and 2 chairs.

OKW has a full size washer & dryer in a laundry room.

SSR has stackable in a closet.

OKW has a complete kitchen - with a ice maker in the refrigerator.

SSR has a nice kitchen but only enough room for one to cook - no ice maker - if you need more ice than the trays can handle - you must walk to the generally ice maker on the first floor.

I really love them both. My answer....it depends.

If it was just DH, DS, DD and me, I would definitely choose SSR. If we went with my MIL/FIL again, I would book at OKW. While we had a great 2nd bedroom with 2 queen size beds at SSR, the family room felt a little tight when all 6 of us were in there.

Both are beautiful, so you really can't go wrong.

Those are actually the only two resorts that I've stayed at a 2br in. I can honestly say that you can't go wrong with either one!

The OKW rooms really are much larger and the large patio/balcony is great. Our teenagers much prefer SSR so we usually stay there when we have friends along and need the two-bedroom. We haven't stayed in the Okw two-bedrooms in a few year and I think we need to go back again.

the space, the full balcony, the full laundry room, it does make a difference.
