My sister and I each have our own room and each paying separately, and I am the planner and have her on my Disney experience app. does she need to have the my Disney experience appp on her phone so she can do her own mobile ordering and pay for it. does she also need to do her resort check in from her app?

I think the bigger question is does she WANT to do her own stuff or are you basically doing everything?

Thinking back to traveling with my sister in law in one room in the past, we just shared my MDE account, and all the charges went to me since the room was in my name. We’d agreed in advance about tracking charges and she just paid me at the end. Now, that did mean some tracking and itemizing of charges, but we didn’t need to be exact to the penny. All of this was preCovid, pre mobile ordering, pre Genie+.

NOW, we would probably use separate MDE accounts if we were in two rooms for the ease of charging everything. I must admit though, if we were eating together, we’d still probably put in ONE mobile order to make sure everything came out at the same time. We’d trade off on that and just keep a very rough running tab of when one owed the other one and adjust the next time one of us paid for something. But we aren’t tracking that to the penny… we’d be rounding to the dollar.

I’d say two amounts but link them for things like ADRs, LL, and $ILLs. But at QS places with mobile order, I’d probably order on one ticket so it was one order that came out instead of risky a delay on an order.
