Two ADRs for the Same Night

There are four of us staying in the same room, but we are hoping to split up one night for dinner. I've read about multiple reservations being cancelled to counter double-booking (although I think this may be a myth). Does anyone know if I'll have trouble making/keeping two dinner reservations for the same time, each for two people?

TIA :goodvibes

We have never had a problem with having more than one reservation...we usually make more than one when we are not sure where we want to go. We usually cancel the one we are not going to use on the morning of the reservation.

As long as you tell the CM when you are making the ressie what your plans are, they can take care of this for you. They can put the 2nd ressie in the name of the other party.

What a shame that the people who might have wanted that 2nd reservation could not get it.

you do not have to call to do this...can book two separate reservations online for your two separate parties. Just make sure when you book the reservations, you put different name & different contact phone number on the reservations so the system recognizes it's not the same people

Really...why not look at the positive, think how EXCITED the person will be that a walk-up or last minute ressie is available :wizard:

To the OP, as others have said, the easiest way to deal with this is to just book the two ressies under different names/phone numbers, then there will be no stress or worries that one will get cancelled. My personal experience, dups don't get cancelled that are under the same name, YMMV.
