We are going on the Wonder next month. My daughter is 37inches and loves slides. Will any one stop her because she is not 38inches? How strict are they?

This is what I read the 38inches:

Twist ‘n’ Spout Slide
For kids who want to experience a little excitement while cooling down, the AquaLab offers an exciting double-looping waterslide. Children using the slide must be at least 38 inches tall.

There is a measurement sign there - I believe they mean it. It's really a safety issue. Do you want to risk your child's safety for 1"?

If she is too short she will not be let on. For water slides with high restrictions there are CMs stationed to ensure children that are too short do not get into line. Since they also have to be bare foot make sure you are measuring her on a hard flat surface with no shoes.

They do measure- hopefully she will be tall enough. Tell her to stand really tall and hopefully she will make it. When she's measured once and is tall enough, they will put a wristband on her so she won't have to be measured every time. Good luck :)

we were just on the Wonder 2 weeks ago and our DD did not receive any wrist band. You climb the ladder and when you get to the top, you wait for the green light and go. I would guess about 20 seconds between riders

How tall is your daughter?

Well, then, she wouldn't require the wristband. I believe they only do that for those who are close to the minimum height, so they don't have to be measured every time they go on the slide.
That may be true, but there wasn't a cast member even standing at the ladder entrance any of the times we rode the slide on the Wonder (we have seen them before on the Dream)............ Only one lifeguard at the bottom of the slide.

Thanks Everyone. Here is hoping for a growth spurt. She has gone to a few different water parks and she was always allowed on the twister slides that are larger than the one on the cruise ship with no problem. I might have a long 2 weeks if she can't go sliding with her sister.
