Twins Only Day

ummm... just by looking at the AP blockout calendar, I don't see any day that the parks are closed to the public. Never heard of a twins only day.

But is there a holiday for twins, perhaps? If so I would keep an eye out for Tweedle dee and Tweedle Dum.

A CM at the store across from Ariel's (the Duffy store) told us about it. I'll ask around today.

If there is one, it's probably like Gay Days or Goth Days or any other "days" that the park either promotes or just accommodates. I've never heard of them closing the park to other people.

The park won't be closed to those who aren't twins but it's possible there is something special for twins on a certain. It would be worth following up on, let us know if you find out.

My twins are 17 years old. I have never heard of a Twins Day at DLR either. Years ago I went to Twins Day at Marine World. The park wasn't closed to the public but it was the day many of us from the NorCal mothers of twins clubs brought our twins and families. We had a special lunch in the group area. I've never heard of that at DLR. Maybe it is something the SoCal MOTCs are organizing down there.

At Guest Services, I was told by the Hostess that any "days" are hosted by the group (e.g. GLADD? - not sure if they are the actual organizers of Gay Days). So I'm going to do some research through multiples groups and see if anyone is setting something up. It would be SO FUN!

I did think it was weird that the CM at the store told my husband yesterday that there was a day "only" for twins.

Yeah, that's odd the CM would say that. I tried looking at the SoCal MOTC site but didn't see anything there. They have a members only section that I can't see because I'm a member of the group in Northern Cal and they are mostly seprate groups. I bet you could find an email on the site and ask them.

The President of Southern California Mothers of Twins Club emailed me and said they have never hosted a day at Disney. I have no idea who could have organized a Twins Day, but I wish someone would. We would totally fly in for it!!!

My oldest two are identical twins. I've never heard of a twins day at DL. Maybe I'm in the minority but it's just not anything that sounds appealing...I always raised them to feel like individuals...no rhyming or sound alike names or the like. My sons are now adults and the whole 'twin' thing has always been something more interesting to other people than it's been to them.

Well, they would be the obvious group to do it. If they didn't then maybe that CM was just confused?
