I saw the people up above to and I took it to be that they were part of the drunk guys group. I too thought it was a guy and girl making out when I saw the movie.

I read that they are filming NM and Eclipse up in Canada and in Italy. I wonder if they are trying to get away from the mobs they expect if they film in the same area. I know they were hoping they got enough scenes at the school that they would need a minimal amount there this time.

As for Bella's Lullaby I love it and do tend to hum it. It is soothing to me.

I saw the movie before reading the book and was kind of confused after seeing it. I thought Edward was ugly and creepy looking at first and didn't understand why she would be interested in him. He got cuter when he started smiling once he was in love with her. I also never got the impression that she really fell in love with Edward because of how sullen and depressed she seemed throughout the movie. I got more of an impression that he was in love with her with the way he smiled and put his arm around her after getting out of the car. In that scene the way I remember it seemed she moved away from him knocking his arm off her shoulders like she was embarrassed. The way he looked at her was loving and she just seemed to look at him like he was no big deal to her. After reading the book it made much more sense. I do wish they got more into the friendship between Bella and Alice. I liked both the book and the movie.

See!! That is so interesting. I totally appreciate your comments as a "didn't read the book so didn't have a clue what was going on when I saw it" person. It's very interesting to note what you got outta the "plot" just based off the script and the actors interpretation. I've always wanted to know that! I saw it with someboyd who hadn't read the book but she wouldn't/couldn't articulate that like you did. Thanks for posting that!

im with you...see angwill comment just shows that kristen is not living up to the snobbery she exudes....seriously though...I dont know if its bad acting or for the fact that she seems like she doesnt know what real passion is but angwill just proved that she didnt pull off bella at all!!!!

Ok so i'm driving yesterday and i look in my rear view mirror...there is this little silver car flying past me. It was a little silver Volvo (just like in the movie, not the book..lol) with a young dark haired guy driving( it was brand new, i'm thinking it was an Edward wannabe)..i almost had a freaking heart attack..i'm really losing my mind. My sister was trying to get her phone out to take a pic, but they were going WAY too fast lol
Last weekend i was driving home from work(at 3 am) and in front of me was a bright yellow 911 turbo Porsche...all i need now is a silver jeep with oversized tires lol

The other confusing thing watching the movie before reading the book was that I couldn't understand why Edward was so darn angry in the beginning of the movie. It was never made really clear except for the bit when he explained about her scent driving him crazy. I still didn't fully understand why that would have made him so angry till reading the books and getting the full meaning of his angst. IMO He still didn't seem as angry in the book as he did in the movie though.

That's so true, right! It's almost as though they never screened it for a non-book reading person. It's ok by me as I read the book so I knew what was going on... but I hear you, totally.

I'm going out on a limb here and agreeing with Travelmel. There were times in the movie when Edward was not attractive at all. For instance, I always notice in the scene in the Volvo on the way out of Port Angeles, his face looks very full and lumpy. It seems like a combination of several factors:

-Makeup
-Hair
-Clothing
-I think Rob has one of those faces that just does not look good from certain angles. I postively hate the second movie poster because seriously, his face looks deformed. He is a very good looking man, but there were many times when you would not know that in the movie.

I also agree that other than her little freak out in the hospital, it was hard to pick up on her attraction for Edward. I just don't like how melancholy she was. That shouldn't happen until book 2. Bella has a sense of humor and is a bit quirky. She is a people pleaser, but she seems like the type who would smile and not sound so freaking depressed all the time- at least that is how I picture her. I also pictured her as having a little more energy, being shy, but maybe subtly perky.

I agree about jasper, but in real life. in the movie i think edward is way hotter. And yes, the girls do love jason, poor thing doesn't know what's going to hit him in a few years.

I already had pre-ordered with Amazon..but may now pre-order with the Border's dvds. The exclusive interviews and color cards sound cool. I think the packaging is different too.

yes!! that's a big annoyance in the movie and the fact that there aren't really sweet, cute moments between Bella and Edward much in the movie...They are almost always so serious and angsty and you miss that they actually have a sweet relationship. He's always so serious and angry..she's seems so serious and angsty...you just lose that dynamic that made them so likeable in the books.
