I don't blame you! It's very frustrating. I think what it comes down to is that neither of us will make much of a difference no matter how po'd we may get about the choices that are eventually made so why hurt your brain fretting? I know that doesn't help much but....

It's still fun to vent/talk about though. We need to, don't we!!!!?? I really hope that they use some High Tech Benjamin Bunny CGI to make Taylor appear SIX FOOT SEVEN. Cause for me, it ain't happenin' in my mental images.

Just like with our kids... that's what happens when we care about something... we worry about how it will turn out!

i guess i'm very late to this party. I just discovered twilight last week and since then have read all 4 (and a half) books, saw the movies once in a theatre and 3 times online and downloaded the soundtrack on itunes.

I'm hooked.

now i guess i better get to reading some of this huge thread.

And Lynn-I completely agree with your vent but I'm trying not to get caught up in hoping New Moon is like the book. I've given up on that-lets face it-Twilight was a good movie but there were some pretty substantial differences from the book.

I think we run into the book vs movie thing any time a movie is made that was originally based on a book. It's hard for me to try to talk to my DH (who is not a big reader) about Harry Potter, because of rather big changes they've made in the past few, leaving certain characters out, etc.

It's just difficult when you're so emotionally invested in a story line and you have to watch all the rumors fly about casting and everything, I totally understand.

Hopefully, we have nothing to worry about, and the movie will be fantastic. And if not, we still have the books, right? I know that my imagination...ahem...may beat a good movie on any day.
