TWILIGHT vampire book!!!!!

I am not liking that doll at all. On one of the other fan sites, I read a post that suggested faving a Edward paper doll so you could dress him like the different decades he lived through.

I can see him in the 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s and even 80s (I am thinking of the lead singer in Aha - same great hair). But I cannot picture the 60s and 70s. Do you think he wore bellbottoms?

I would definitely buy an Edward paperdoll (or better yet, a magnetic one!)

I am not happy at all with the outfit that Bella wears to the dance at the end. That sweater is atrocious. I think my grnadmother wore that same one in the nursing home when she got chilly.

Being honest here...Kristin Stewart is not inspiring confidence in me. I have heard he inject precious little emotion or even INFLECTION into her lines in the trailers. We all know that trailer scenes are not the same takes used for the film for the most part, so I am really hoping that the takes they used in the actual movie are better. Neither her face nor her speaking shows any of what I expect from Bella...so far.

I'm feeling you on the outfits, but from the books I get that she is kind of conservative, and maybe it looks different in the movie since we are only seeing bits and pieces. I personally will just be checking Edward out, so she could be wearing a monkey suit for all I care.

I started New Moon yesterday and I'm halfway through. I looked at the clock last night when I couldn't hold my eyes open anymore and it was after 2am. What the heck?

Hi everyone. I just got Twilight on CD (11 discs) from the library. I xferred to my MP3 and starting listening last night. Now I cant wait to go home and listen more. I got mad at DH because he took the car with the CD player in it to work last night. LOL

I just finished the Vegas Vampire series by Erin McCarthy and loved them.( I think they are alot more trashier than Twilight though)

RFL - then I rationally thought- Wait I've read the first book and he doesn't die -OH YEAH, flashback scene to when he was really 17. Scared me to death, lol!

OK - hold the phones - VEGAS Vampires? I'm from Vegas, you mean there is a book about vampires in Vegas? Is it good - gotta read that next. Yes there is a set of 4. High Stakes is the first one. I read all 4 within a month. They are that good. First ever vampire romance books I heard of. Now I am addicted and is why I started Twilight.

I took a look on Amazon - I was sort of shocked that the covers had a "Betwitched Look to them". But if you say they are good- I'll give them a try.

frankly I dont think Kristin Stewart is a good actress at all...she acts the same in every role she plays... Bella didnt show alot of emotion period..she wasnt a cryer(except at night and that didnt happen till Edward left) or a screamer..in fact many times she hid her tears...she was very plainly dressed and hated to be foo foo..she kind of reminded me of a tomboy...that being said, Kristin Stewart reminds me alot of what my interpretation of who Bella is and therefore I think she is the right person for the roll...her real personality reminds me too much of Bellas...she lucked out as far as Im concerned...this isnt going to be her breakout roll like I think it will be for Rob...I think Rob is going to go through the roof after this one

Ok - Is it sad that I have 28 minutes till work is over and I'm only thinking about how fast I can get everything done at home so I can continue and hopefully finish New Moon tonight? Why do I have to take 30 minutes to drive home? Is it necessary to eat dinner? Do you think I can convice DH that he must take AND pick up my daughter to/from cheer tonight? LOL!

Oh and by the way - I'm totally TEAM EDWARD!

Run and get your copy of Twilight - It's so addicting. I just started the end of last week and I'm almost done with the second book. I sure wish I had more hours to devote to reading, lol!

One thing for sure - It has really brought back my love for reading. I forgot how much I LOVE a good book that makes you yearn for more.
