TWILIGHT vampire book!!!!!

I'm finally jumping on the Twilight train! I'm halfway done with "Twilight" and going back to Target in the morning to scoop up the rest!

Sam's Club has the paperbacks for $7.08. I bought Twilight on Sunday because I had originally gotten it from the library and I wanted a copy for the house.

At the moment I am having to drive an hour to an hour and a half round trip several times a week for diabetes testing, so I downloaded the first Twilight audiobook from iTunes and put it on my iPod. I wasn't sure if I would like it, I have never listened to an audiobook before, but I loved it. The narrator intonates things differently than how I would in some parts, and I think it gives me a new perspective on the book. I think I'm gonna have to stop for awhile after I read the books for the third time through. Brisingr (the third book in the Inheritance Trilogy, aka Eragon) is coming out and I need to read the first two to refresh myself. Does anybody else read these books? I really like them, in fact, my oldest puppy is named Eragon .

I don't know about iTunes pricing but just wanted to add that I've been getting them from my library. I have a long commute so I've been enjoying listening to the audio books for weeks. I just reserve them online (as there's a wait for them usually). I love how they are read outloud differently than I read them to myself. I'm really getting something different out of them listening to them. I just finished listening to "Fire and Ice" from Eclipse. It was painful not being able to skim through some of that.

I love listening to the audiobooks! Well, I actually have only listened to the first 3 books. I don't like the fourth book enough to listen to it. The audiobooks are on my iPod so I can listen to them whenever I want.

I know I'm the only one who thinks this, but I never ever pictured any of them wearing actual baseball uniforms or attire when I read the book. I don't recall SM even describing them as wearing anything particular.

I haven't read Midnight Sun (yet) but I'm not really feeling too horribly guilty for downloading it. I know it's a "rough" copy and would hope some day Stephenie M. will perfect it and publish it.

So? How many days till THE MOVIE day???

Jennasis: You're not the only one who never pictured them in uniforms. When I first saw them in uniforms in a news clip it took me by surprise, but they do kind of add to the atmosphere. After all, they do take the game pretty seriously.

I never pictured them in uniforms either when I read Twilight. The first time I saw a movie clip of them in these uniforms I was very surprised, but I figured that the movies always take liberties when transforming books to film. I like them in uniform! (I'd love Edward in whatever they put him in!)

Does anybody know of a website that sells silk ruffle tulips (the flower on the cover of New Moon)? I am making a little "Twilight area" in my apartment. I hvae my movie poster put up in a nook outside my bathroom. There is a little chest of drawers underneath, and I am putting the books on top of there. I wanted to get the tulip and put it (or them) in a vase to complete the look, but I'm having a heck of a time finding it.
